Do I have to sign a contract?
No. Bee Maids does not require long-term contracts. We work to earn your business with every cleaning.
What services does Bee Maids provide?
Bee Maids offers a full range of services, including: recurring cleaning, deep cleaning, move-in/out cleaning, hourly cleaning, and disinfecting services — tailored to fit each home’s needs.
Do you offer refunds?
Because cleaning is a personalized and subjective service, we do not offer refunds. Instead, we provide a 24-hour, 100% Satisfaction Guarantee. If something was missed, let us know within 24 hours and we’ll gladly return to re-clean the area at no additional charge.
How soon do I need to report an issue after my cleaning?
Please contact us within 24 hours of your cleaning. Requests received after that window are not eligible for re-cleaning.
Do I need to prepare my home before cleaning?
Yes. We ask that you:
Pick up loose items
Clear countertops and floors
Remove dishes from sinks
This allows our team to focus their time on cleaning rather than organizing. If you need help with preparation, please contact us in advance so pricing can be adjusted.
What’s the difference between a basic and a deep cleaning?
- Basic Cleaning: Refreshes regularly maintained homes—dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and bathroom/kitchen cleaning.
- Deep Cleaning: A thorough, top-to-bottom service for homes that haven’t been professionally cleaned in a while. Every surface is hand-wiped, from ceiling fans and light fixtures down to baseboards and corners, including detailed scrubbing of bathrooms, kitchens, and high-touch areas. Optional appliance cleaning is also available.
What is hourly cleaning and when should I book it?
Hourly cleaning lets you choose specific tasks and rooms you want cleaned. It’s ideal when you need focused attention in certain areas or extra time beyond standard services.
How do I book a cleaning appointment?
You can book online or call our office. We will contact you to confirm all details before your booking is finalized.
What time will my cleaning team arrive?
We offer two arrival windows:
Morning: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Afternoon: 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM
What happens if the team has to wait to get inside?
If our team arrives but cannot begin cleaning due to lack of access, waiting time may be charged at the regular rate. If access cannot be obtained, the visit may be considered a lock-out.
Why does Bee Maids have a cancellation policy?
When we schedule a cleaning, we reserve staff, travel time, and a dedicated time slot. Last-minute changes prevent us from filling that time and directly affect our cleaning teams. This policy helps us keep schedules fair and reliable for everyone.
How much notice do I need to cancel or reschedule?
Cancellations or reschedules must be made by 4:00 PM, two business days before your scheduled service to avoid a late change fee.
Business days are Monday through Friday.
What is the late cancellation or reschedule fee?
A $50 late change fee applies to cancellations or reschedules made after the cutoff.
How do Monday cleanings work if I cancel over the weekend?
Because our office is closed on weekends, Monday appointments canceled or rescheduled after 4:00 PM on Fridayare considered late and subject to the $50 fee.
What is a lock-out?
A lock-out occurs when our team arrives but cannot perform the service due to:
No key, code, or access provided
Utilities (water or electricity) not available
Unsecured pets
Being turned away at the door
What is the lock-out fee?
Lock-outs are charged 50% of the scheduled service price. This helps cover payroll, travel, and the time reserved for your appointment.
Can a lock-out fee be waived?
No. Lock-out charges cannot be waived, even if the service is rescheduled.
How can I avoid a lock-out?
Ensure a key, code, or lockbox is available
Confirm utilities are on
Secure pets before arrival
Be reachable on cleaning day
What if my home needs more time than expected?
If additional time is needed, we will contact you before proceeding.
No additional time is ever charged without approval
If additional time is not approved, we clean up to the originally scheduled time
Scope or detail may be limited to fit the approved timeframe

How much does house cleaning cost?
Prices vary by home size, service type, and frequency. Estimates are always provided before booking so you know what to expect.

Do I need a deep cleaning before starting recurring service?
A deep cleaning is recommended, but not required.
What happens if I start recurring service without a deep cleaning?
If recurring service begins without an initial deep cleaning, we require a minimum of five (5) scheduled cleanings to properly establish the home.
You may cancel at any time, but if service is canceled before the fifth completed visit, a $90 early cancellation feeapplies.
What if I start with a deep cleaning?
Customers who begin recurring service with a deep cleaning may cancel recurring service at any time without the $90 early cancellation fee.
Standard cancellation and rescheduling rules still apply.
What about pets?
We love pets, but we are not responsible for pets that escape when technicians enter or exit the home. Please secure pets or notify us in advance if they will be roaming freely.
Do you clean extreme messes or biohazards?
No. We do not clean bodily fluids, pet or human waste, hazardous materials, or severe mold. If unsafe conditions are present, the team may refuse service and the visit may be treated as a lock-out.
Do you serve my neighborhood?
Yes, Bee Maids serves West Houston and surrounding areas including Katy, Cypress, Richmond, Fulshear, Cinco Ranch, and Houston neighborhoods. Other Houston Metro neighborrhoods coming soon…
Do I need to be home during the cleaning?
No. Many clients provide secure access via a key, code, or lockbox, and your home will be locked when we leave.
